While Verizon and Yahoo team up for low-end high-speed access, SBC is expanding its relationship with the internet company to include Yahoo Music Unlimited. SBC will market co-branded SBC Yahoo Music Unlimited as part of its DSL offerings, sticking with Yahoo’s below-market pricing. One plus beyond bundling for SBC customers: subscribers will get a download discount rate of $0.79 a song compared to the usual $0.99. SBC has been emphasizing entertainment so this fits in while Yahoo gets a marketing boost with one of the largest high-speed ISPs.
