Time Warner’s Turner Sets Debut Price for GameTap

Time Warner’s Turner Broadcasting will introduce its much-anticipated video game network GameTap at $14.95 a month when it is rolled out later this year.

It will allow subscribers to tap into a network of more than 1,000 games from 17 different publishers, including Activision and Ubisoft.

It is a download model and while the games are dowloaded through Turner’s custom application, Turner will serve up streaming video clips with news, entertainment, and cross-promotions for movies and other properties.
