Shareholders late Wednesday approved Adobe’s planned acquisition of Macromedia, moving the companies a step closer to completing the deal, originally worth $3.4 billion.
The companies are still awaiting approval from antitrust officials who early in the past month requested additional information on the merger. Adobe and Macromedia continue to expect the deal to close in the fall following regulatory approval for the merger.
