Advertisers Still Wary Of New Media Marketing

Russell over at MobHappy reports — in a fairly scathing way — on some research conducted by McKinsey. When asked the question “Would you allocate more ad spending to a channel, offering attractive ratings growth – for example, via new technologies such as SMS?” only 58% answered in the affirmative. Only 14% of respondents thought the money should come from the current print advertising budget…
Still, there are a lot of companies doing innovative stuff in mobile advertising, and I think they will do very well…some of them, at least, the ones that do it right.
