m-Qube, the mobile technology company headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, has received $10 million in new financing led by HarbourVest Partners, a global private equity investment firm. m-Qube has had a big year, achieving 1,700% revenue growth in the first half of 2005, compared to revenue in the first half of 2004 and launching cross-carrier mobile content storefronts and messaging programs for “hundreds of clients and their agencies/service providers in North America, including NESTLE, Major League Baseball Advanced Media, gURL.com, PlanetOut and SHOWTIME”. It’s also the partner Reuters used to launch its premium SMS service.
Jeffrey Glass, CEO, m-Qube, said: “m-Qube has experienced tremendous growth and momentum over the past year, and we intend to tap into these funds to support our continued development while also evaluating strategic acquisitions that will further our leadership position in this fast growing market.”
