Relations between management and staff at a division of AOL UK has descended to such a low that 62% of web journalists don’t trust management’s honesty, according to a leaked survey reported by Guardian.
The survey followed a restructuring in February that saw eight members of staff lose their jobs. Staff dissatisfaction forced AOL to become the first new media company to formally recognise the National Union of Journalists.
