Shanda Interactive, China’s top online game operator said its Q2 earnings rose. Its net income rose 58 percent to 223 million yuan ($26.9 million), from 141 million yuan a year ago. Revenue rose to 539.5 million yuan ($65.2 million) from 287 million yuan in the year-ago period.
Its oline games revenue rose 72 percent from a year ago and 5.7 percent from the preceding quarter to 466.7 million yuan ($56.4 million). Full details in this release.
