Airborne Entertainment: Director of Marketing & Promotions, LA

Airborne Entertainment, a subsidiary of CYBIRD Co., LTD. is a leading provider and publisher of premier mobile entertainment content and applications, including games, images, video, ringtones, ringbacktones and informational content.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Marketing & Promotions will be accountable for leading the development and loyalty of marketing and promotional program execution with Airborne Entertainment business partners and branded mobile content. The Director of Marketing & Promotions will supervise a staff and be directly responsible for the creation and implementation of successful product and partner marketing campaigns across all key Airborne product categories and distribution outlets including major brand channels and carrier distribution channels.

RESPONSIBILITES

– Develop and implement all marketing plans for Airborne Entertainment’s products and programming across mobile, online, print and broadbast.

– Develop media and advertising opportunities and campaigns for Airborne’s brand partners, carrier channels and consumer outlets across all forms of media.

– Develop and execute successful promotional programs across Airborne’s carrier, brand and consumer channels. Work with key brand partners to lead ongoing integrated promotions across all forms of media.

– Responsible for the management and execution of day to day partner marketing and for driving the creation of marketing tools and programs for the partner channels.

– Lead and implement brand positioning and marketing plans to ensure successful content launches, promotions and marketing programs. Must be able to manage strategic relations, gather research and produce dynamic communication tools.

– Maintain marketing budgets and track the performance and success metrics of internal and external marketing campaigns. Coordinate with sales and product management to ensure company has all relevant market performance information and research.

– This position will be responsible for managing additional team members or external resources.

REQUIRMENTS

– 7 years experience in consumer and partner marketing & promotions, with an advertising or entertainment industry background – preferably with a background in mobile entertainment.

– Strong experience in development and implementation of major marketing initiatives including product positioning, integrated promotions, advertising campaigns, sweepstakes and partner marketing.

– Proven success as an innovative, creative and strategic thinker with excellent brand building, integrated marketing abilities and strong people management skills.

– Self motivated team player and facilitator with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects in a dynamic/changing environment and seeing those projects through to a successful completion.

– Proven new media and internet marketing expertise required.

– Requires close collaboration with functional departments (online, creative, sales, commercial development, etc.) to ensure world-class management of our products and marketing initiatives.

– A commitment to understanding consumer behavior as it relates to entertainment and mobile content.

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management abilities required along with ability to manage and inspire teams. Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize.

– Position based in Los Angeles, CA.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required. MBA desired.
