Exchange4Media.com: E-papers are only catching on in India. Only Hindustan Times has gone pay till now. And some three years ago, India Today Group shut down their e-paper, TheNewspaperToday (the first Indian e-paper), after it failed to generate revenues (they had gone pay then). However, now newspaper publishers are seeing potential for this online product in terms of revenues.
Says S N Bhaduri, VP, e-business, Hindustan Times, “If you can differentiate your product from others, then it can yield the intended result.”
