Brightcove is a venture-backed start-up pioneering a new online service for the delivery of Internet TV. We are searching for an exceptional person to take the senior position selling our broadband ad inventory. We are looking for someone who is passionate about media, and has a proven ability to drive the sales of complex online advertising opportunities to major brand advertisers. Candidates must be highly motivated, extremely organized, results-oriented and possess outstanding communication and sales skills.
Working for Brightcove will give you a unique opportunity to join a startup on the ground floor and help to drive the adoption of new broadband advertising models. As the big-money in advertising moves away from TV looking for new ways to build brand, you can be at the center of working with major advertisers delivering broadband video ads.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishing and manage relationships with major national and regional brand advertisers.
- Establishing relationships with key advertising agencies and media buyers in the broadband space.
- Delivering on annual and quarterly advertising sales objectives across all Brightcove properties.
- Working closely with the product team to create compelling solutions for advertiser needs.
- Participating in the growth of the company by helping to reinforce company culture, recruit talent and develop positive partner relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS in business, management, engineering or related field.
- 4+ years minimum online advertising sales experience.
- Hands-on approach toward tackling tactical as well as strategic work.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment.
LOCATION: Cambridge, Massachusetts or New York City.
