Yahoo Japan will invest in a subsidiary of Japanese mobile shopping portal company Xavel, which operates sites like GirlsWalker. Yahoo will invest more than 1 billion yen (US$8.9 million) to acquire 33.52 per cent of the voting rights in Xavel unit Ampression.
