Viacom’s Wireless Revenues in U.S. Top $100 Million

Viacom, the media conglomerate, reported its Q2 revenues today, and on the conference call, company executives waxed eloquent about digital media. The company is actively looking for more digital and mobile media acquisitions (It bought out Neopets in June). Also, the company said this on wireless, in which its networks MTV and others have been very active: “Our wireless business, from content distribution to integrated sponsorship to ad spend is well over the $100 million mark, and that’s just domestically.”
