Since the first series of bombings in London on 7th July people have become increasingly media savvy, comprehending which events are newsworthy and taking pictures and videos of scenes, which they know what to do with…in some cases of good quality but often barely usable. News organizations are willing to pay for good images, but not for bad ones.
