In-Fusio is a giant of the mobile games sector and can boast a heritage going back further than any of its rivals. But its journey has been defiantly different from any of them. Fundamentally this is because In-Fusio built its business on the back of its own mobile games ecosystem, namely ExEn. In time ExEn was eclipsed by Java and, in the U.S., BREW, although it persisted as a force with some operators including Orange.
In 2004 it announced a successor to ExEn called EGE (ExEn Gaming Extensions). This would not replace Java but enhance it with a better look and feel, as well as allow community features.
