The AOL announcements keep on coming with the beta in full swing. The latest content deal is a renewed agreement with ABC News that brings the network’s content from behind the AOL garden wall to the AOL.com portal. ABC News will deliver breaking news updates, multiple live video streams and interactive progtamming to AOL.com. It’s not the full ABC News product, as David Westin, president of ABC News, says in the press release: “ABC News is proud to enrich the AOL site with some of our most compelling news and live video content.”
In addition to news updates and the live streams, the package includes audio for narrow band users and lifestyle stories. ABC/AOL Search Watch will highlight top searchs on AOL, adding in links and analysis. “Press Pass” will mix live and on-deman video with various AOL features including InstaPoll, “interactive blogging,” message boards, chat.
