PixelPlay, the NYC-based gaming tech company, has launched a cross-platform gaming service that enables set-top and mobile phone users to go head-to-head. PixelPlay said its cross-platform technology will feature parlor games such as checkers, chess and backgammon, and support leader boards and prize tournaments.
