Nokia is supporting an MTV mobile magazine (which I think will be called MTV: starzine) is billed as Europe’s first magazine to be created entirely by its readers, as well as MTV’s first production of a magazine. “Building on Nokia’s Lifeblog application, MTV viewers will be invited to contribute to the online magazine by sending in their mobile phone photographs with accompanying copy”. The magazine will be promoted on-air, online and through ‘glue’ magazine, with the tagline ‘Snap, send, shine – fame is just a click away’.
It will be interesting to see if this will take off, considering it will be full of people who wannabe famous…but then a lot of the star-search style reality shows are very popular…
