Contextual Ad Network IndustryBrains Sold For $30.6 Million

IndustryBrains, the contextual advertising network which focuses mainly on online trade media companies, has been bought out by online tech-marketing company Marchex, for about $30.6 million in a combination of cash and stock.

The NYC-based IB has advertising relationships with sites such as USAToday.com, BusinessWeek Online, The Motley Fool, Forbes.com, and the Ziff Davis online properties, among others.
