As Product Manager, you will own and manage key Web site features and functionality within Audible.com. Focusing on the customer experience and merchandizing, you will be responsible for writing requirements, planning long-term strategy and optimizing vital customer interactions, including registering, finding, purchasing, and downloading.
This position will report to the director of customer experience, as a part of the overall marketing group.
Key Responsibilities:
-Define customer and business requirements for site features and functionality
-Work with editorial, design, development and reporting teams to optimize the customer experience
-Develop innovative and effective programs to increase customer satisfaction and revenue
-Define success metrics and benchmarks to evaluate the performance for your products
You should demonstrate enthusiasm for and a deep knowledge of merchandising, marketing and the online customer experience. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, an excellent team player, passionate about the customer, skilled at improving the purchase experience, and will demonstrate an innovative approach to problem-solving.
Requirements:
-5+ years of experience in product management with heavy emphasis on marketing and customer experience
-Minimum of 3 years experience merchandising products and services in an online environment
-Strong analytical and planning skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Exceptionally strong presentation skills.
-A proven track record of shipping successful online or software products
-BS/BA in appropriate technology or business-related field
