Earnings: Belo’s Online Ad Revs Up 40 Percent in Q2

Belo, the Dallas, TX-based newspaper and TV media company (owner of The Dallas Morning News, among others), has reported higher online ad revenues, as part of its Q2 earnings report. Advertising revenues from Belo’s Television Group websites were 41 percent greater than the year-ago quarter.

Revenues associated with the Newspaper Group’s websites increased almost 40 percent in Q2.

For Q3, the company expects TV website group revenue to increase from $2.3 million in Q3 2004 to approximately $3.3 million this year.
