M:Metrics has found a correlation between the age and mobile content usage of a person and the carrier they choose for their mobile phone service. “Our data shows that each carrier attracts its own demographic, which correlates with the consumption of mobile content,” observed Seamus McAteer, senior analyst and chief product architect, M:Metrics. The release has some interesting stats on the customer base of the major telcos, as well as the two largest MVNOs, Virgin Mobile and Tracfone.
