GoingOn, a new social networking company started by Tony Perkins (Red Herring, AlwaysOn) and Marc Canter (Macromedia and Open Media Network OurMedia.org, among others), has received an undisclosed amount of venture angel funding from the Armada Investment Group.
The founder want the company to be a “network of networks” — a platform open for integration with other social networking players, such as Tribe or Friendster, and other large media companies, such as Yahoo, and even other corporate sites. (Read founder Canter’s post about the new venture here.)
