Insurer Tata AIG Goes Mobile

CIOL: Tata AIG General Insurance Company Ltd announced the launch of SMS-based initiatives to provide customers an avenue to register their claims as well as renew their policies.
A claim can be registered by SMSing the message ‘CLAIM’ to 8888. Tata AIG General’s 24 hours call centre will contact the customer within 30 minutes and provide assistance to the customer in registering his claims in addition to addressing any claims related queries, the company said in a press release.
To renew policies, the customer can send ‘RENEW’ via SMS to 8888. This service is accessible through all mobile services.
