Role Description

Telephia Audience Measurement (TAM) measures audiences and use activity of mobile content (e.g., mobile games, music, mobile internet). For this new and strategic area of Telephia’s business growth, the Sales Manager will implement an aggressive outbound sales plan to gain customers across the mobile content industry.

The primary objective of the position is to build a blanket-like reach across content providers large and small in different categories (portals, games, music, media brands, and more) by developing leads, tracking them down, and gaining them as customers.

Specific responsibilities include:

– Executing on a comprehensive and achievable strategic plan for target customer accounts across the mobile content industry;

– Delivering a large customer install base of our products rapidly;

– Growing revenue through increased reach and penetration across a multitude of content provider accounts, sales of new and incremental products, and price increases on annual renewals;

– Leading custom analysis, consulting engagements and data modeling that drives improved decisions and performance from Telephia’s information;

– Leading client service activities, including training and support, for a broad group of end-users within the client organizations;

– Serving as a internal thought leader around business applications of the Telephia dataset;

– Discovering and qualifying new product development opportunities;

– Traveling to clients and spending over 30-50% of time on site with clients.

Requirements

The successful candidate we seek will have 3-5 years work experience in aggressive selling to a multitude of customers. Experience in the wireless / mobile content / online content / media & entertainment industries is a plus. This person works well in an entrepreneurial environment with other highly driven colleagues and possesses a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic. In addition, he/she will possess the following:

– Strong, aggressive, tactical selling and client skills – lead generation, lead management, prospecting, follow-ups, selling, closing deals, maintaining relationships

– A proven track record delivering on or exceeding revenue goals

– Strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated, strong orientation toward client relationships

– Experience with data analysis and project management

– Experience analyzing large amounts of information and developing business recommendations in the marketing and/or engineering disciplines

– Strong quantitative skills with experience in data analysis and statistics;strong Excel spreadsheet and data manipulation skills

– High attention to detail; enjoys data oriented research

– Excellent oral communication and writing skills – strong skills in constructing and delivering senior level client presentations

– An ability to assess client needs effectively and address needs through new products and services

– BA or BS degree
