Manchester United’s Mobile Division Going In Overdrive

Manchester United’s mobile division, MUmobile is embarking on a mobile campaign to sell the football club’s new away strip to its fans worldwide. The club has partnered with mobile media content provider FoneStarz to create the campaign aimed at the estimated 75 million Manchester United supporters, which allows consumers to buy the kit via their mobile.
MUmobile, is a joint business between Manchester United and Vodafone, selling text alerts, ringtones, wallpapers, mobile games, video highlights and a series of mobile personalisation applications to Manchester United fans both on and off the Vodafone network.
