VNU eMedia: Brand Manager, NYC

VNU Business Media publishes over 50 business publications, stages over 50 trade shows and conferences and operates more than 200 business-to-business electronic products. We currently have a rewarding career opportunity for an experienced Brand Manager to join our eMedia division overseeing such brands as Adweek, Brandweek and Mediaweek.

The Brand Manager is primarily responsible for expediting project plans for online products. This position requires industry proficiency, project management and business analytical skills and communication excellence. This position must maintain industry marketplace knowledge, including history, current challenges and competitors and will execute business strategy as defined by Group Brand Manager. Brand Manager is also responsible for project management, including analyzing and prioritizing project needs. Create project plans that meet brand objectives. Other responsibilities include business management (P&Ls, preparing budgets and forecasts) and maintaining excellence in communication.

REQUIREMENTS

-Bachelors degree plus a minimum of 3 years product management, publishing and/or related
experience.

-Demonstrated knowledge of the internet and basic html is a plus.

-Must possess excellent presentation skills.
