We’ll have more details for you in a bit but Fox Interactive Media has made its first acquisition — at least the first public one — and it’s MySpace.com. Actually, it’s all of Intermix — which helps explain the rush they were in to settle their legal problems earlier this summer — but buzzleader MySpace is the jewel. News Corp. is paying roughly $580 million — $12 a share — and News Corp will get all of MySpace since Intermix announced today that it exercised its option to acquire the 47 percent of MySpace.com that it does not already own. Press release.
