The Economic Times (Link via Agencyfaqs.com): India’s Telecom Commission will meet shortly to decide whether the rollout of 3G services will require a separate licence. This is one of the most eagerly awaited decisions that is expected to close the national debate on whether the government should put a price tag on scarce 3G spectrum.
