Irish Lab To Join An EU-India Program To Study Technological Innovations In Rural Areas

SiliconRepublic.com: An EU-India program to study on technological innovations has participation from several partners including a research lab at Waterford Institute of Technology. The project, involving millions of euro in government aid and corporate donations, seeks to leverage technology development processes to improve the lives of thousands of Indian communities.
The Information Systems, Organisations and Learning Research Centre (ISOL) at the Waterford Institute of Technology is one of five partners in the project. This project involves more than 20 academic and industry partners in as many countries and represents a new departure for research in the field of technological innovation.
