Restructuring At Verizon Wireless’ Content Division

Before this gets too stale, I’ll put this out: recently, there has been some restructuring at Verizon Wireless’ content/marketing division…here’s what a spokesperson told me in response to my query (I am still a bit confused on how this changes things inside the company, but anyway): “Want to point out that our content/data group has aways been part of our broad marketing organization, and that Bill Stone has been, and remains, VP-marketing with broad responsibilities for marketing our services and products. Paul Palmieri, under VP-internet/data services Jim Straight, continues to work developing new content and incorporating technologies into products and services, though the content programming is moving from Jim Straight’s group over to Bill Stone’s. I think this is typical of the reallignments you’ll see from major companies as products move from ‘early adopter’ phase into the mainstream.”
