Media Giants Lobby Operators On Content

This is a significant development which will hopefuly help content providers get a larger revenue share from operators: Global media giants including News Corporation, Twentieth Century Fox, Disney, Universal and Warner Bros have launched an initiative to ensure the interests of content providers are represented in areas such as revenue share, billing and mobile advertising…The companies are all members of a new advisory board to the GSM Association (GSMA).
The advisory board is made up of very senior company representatives, such as News Corp president Lucy Hood, CNBC MD Mick Buckley and Fox VP Christian Gass, to enable it to have a real impact.
