TypePad ugrades- templates changed

You have probably noticed the sidebars on jkOnTheRun look different and no longer flow smoothly.  Sometime this morning Six Apart upgraded the TypePad sites and changed my template without notice.  I have to see what I need to do to get it back like it was so be patient and I’ll get it back like it was.  It looks like they made some nice improvements to the TypePad service including doubling the allotted bandwidth so it’s a two-edged sword as these things often are.  Biggest problem for me- the Google spell check no longer works in TypePad text boxes.  Very bad.

UPDATE:  TypePad has fixed the problem and all is well now.  Their tech support is the best in the business when it comes to response time.

Byrne, you guys rock for moving so fast!

Michael, thanks for the tip for spellbound. As Byrne indicates they are working on getting the Google spell check problem fixed.

Hey James,

Bummer things got messed up, but everything looks okay to me at this point. If you’re using Firefox, you can try installing the Spellbound extension. I use it with Blogger and when posting to various forums.

Your weblog sidebars should appear normal again. Our apologies for the inconvenience. The spell checker bug has been identified and push is being made to fix the problem. Again – our apologies, we are working around the clock to keep everything running smoothly for you and all other Typepad customers. Please let us know if you continue to experience problems.
