DeepikaGlobal: Bristish firm Intec Telecom Systems will invest 2.5 million pounds in its Indian operations by 2006 end to take up high end software development for its products, company Managing Director for global services delivery Jim Meginley said today.
Announcing the launch of India operations of the telecom software solutions provider, with a staff strength of 80 that would nearly double to 150 by December this year, Meginley said the Centre would be an integral part of the company’s activities in the supply of operations and business support systems which were fundamental technologies for telecom companies. They support the billing systems across all types of networks from fixed line telephony to advanced 3G mobile services.
The company expect to earn a revenue of $215 million this year and since 1999 it has been growing at a CAGR of 40 per cent.
