: Leading online health content syndicator is seeking a business development director responsible for creating distribution partnerships. Opportunities will leverage the consumer and sales divisions of the company, which provide to partners high quality health-related content and advertising solutions, respectively.
Responsibilities:
– Identify and make contact with potential partners to present content and advertising representation opportunities
– Analyze business opportunities and present to upper management
– Coordinate with legal and finance teams to put a contract in place
– Enact a plan with the Affiliate Management and IT departments to ensure a successful rollout of partnerships, with continuous follow-up after launch
Requirements:
– Experienced negotiator with track record in content licensing and distribution
– Strong knowledge of online media landscape
– Excellent communications skills and proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
– 5+ years of Business Development Experience; MBA preferred
– Job is on-site in our New York offices; some travel expected
