In UK, BT Group plans to launch its IPTV service next summer and (in what is some good news for Microsoft after a slew of setbacks) has signed on MSFT to use its IPTV softwrae in trials.
Smaller operators such as Homechoice have also launched similar services in the UK, but customers need a BT phone line to get the service. Broadband rivals Wanadoo and AOL UK are both looking at VoD as a way of adding extra broadband services for punters.
