News.com: This story isn’t saying something new about India’s chances of becoming a tech super power. It, however, gives a good overview of where India stands now in terms of tech action. Some bit of news I culled out from the multi-part article is that at least three to four Indian companies are looking at listing in Nasdaq in the next one year.
“There is a huge Indian domestic opportunity and an export opportunity beyond outsourcing,” said Rishi Navani, managing director of WestBridge Capital Partners, a venture capital firm specializing in Indo-American deals. “Over the next 12 months, you will see three to four new Indian Nasdaq listings.”
