Another legendary PC game has made it to the mobile world…an agreement between id Software and publisher Pulse Interactive will see Quake make the move to mobile handsets. When it hit the shelves in 1996 Quake raised the bar in terms of 3D graphics and multiplayer games, although I’m not sure whether the mobile version will allow multiplayer gaming — it would be great if it did. The release describes it as “A faithful conversion of the PC original, QUAKE Mobile offers players all of the action, speed and memorable characters and combat that took the gaming world by storm in 1996.”
What is interesting is that Quake Mobile is going to be embedded in some a Korean 3D-enabled handset this month…
