M:Metrics has pointed out that the most common types of payment plans in the US are family plans — 41.4% of subscribers and 51.9% of 13-24 year-olds who downloaded content are on a family plan. The result is that even carriers don’t have a completely clear view as to who is downloading content on their networks, which hampers targeted marketing efforts and could be detrimental to the growth of the industry…
