Whew, that’s over. Google finally broke the $300 barrier, closing at $303.82. We are not trying to re-open the “Google as media company” debate but Bambi Francisco can’t help noting that the market cap of $84 billion is higher than Time Warner ($79 billion), Disney ($54 billion) and Yahoo ($49 billion). But does it mean anything beyond Google? This time next year will we be waiting for Google to hit an all-time low? It’s all speculative and that’s why they call it legalized gambling.
