Movie-games Catching On; Mauj Creates 'Sarkar' Game For BSNL Subs

Indiantelevision.com: Movie-based games are catching on in India. Movie producers are now waiting to sell their movie rights to game developers as that brings in additional revenues, which was non-existent earlier. The rates going is Rs 5-35 lakh ($12,000-$83,300). So both movie producer, telco and the game developer makes money. The monthly game downloads in India are about 500,000.
