Singtel, India's NSTPL To Offer Online Learning Program

Yahoo! (Release): Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) and Noida Software Technology Park Limited (NSTPL), a leading satellite teleport operator in India, intend to jointly provide SingTel’s IP Learn service in India for global markets.
The interactive distance-learning service, marketed under the Cosmic Campus brand, is a complete integrated e-learning solution for learning centers and content providers to deliver high quality education content via digital audio video broadcasting to dispersed and remote locations across Asia using SingTel’s IP Learn service and the ST-1 satellite.
SingTel will manage the satellite transmission systems from Singapore while NSTPL takes care of the delivery in India. Mr Masagos Zulkifli, SingTel’s Vice President of Regional and Mobile Satellite Business, said: “The collaboration between SingTel and NSTPL reinforces the on-going business goodwill between Singapore and India.
