Long live IP, the great revenue deflator! In-Stat says total consumer spending on communications will fall to $106.7 billion in 2009 from $114.8 billion in 2004. There go the voice sales! Broadband, however will grow from 28.6% market penetration in 2004 to nearly 50% by the end of 2009.
