Collaboration tools can stimulate group participation in meetings better than static presentations ever will but until now there hasn’t been any way to do this easily. GTOCalcomp, a company I didn’t realize was still around, is touting their InterWrite MeetingPad 400 as the perfect thing to hand out at meetings to get attendees to participate in the process being pushed at the meeting. The MeetingPad can be passed around the table or up to seven of them can be used together with all working together via Bluetooth. The MeetingPad has a range of 300 feet and will run for 40 hours on a charge. There is a lot of information about the software used to tie this all together on the GTOCalcomp web site.
