Fanball, an online fantasy sports site based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been sold to Fun Technologies, an online sports information company in London.
Fun will make an initial payment of $12 million, plus future payment based on earnings, which could bring the total price to as much as $22 million.
Fanball has white-label deals with the likes of AOL and Nascar.. it also owns Fanball.com Radio and produces print publications called “Just Cheat Sheets”, “Fantasy Racing” and “Fantasy Football Weekly”. Last year, Fanball had a net income of $1.01 million on turnover of $4.59 million.
