Canada-based Redknee, a leading global provider of communication software to wireless telecommunication network operators, is looking for potential acquisitions to drive growth. The self-funded, privately-held company (started in 2002 by people of Indian origins) did business worth $40 million (Canadian) last year and is set to double the figure next year. “The market for next generation of wireless technology products has accelerated in the last 12 months… the era of combining voice and data into a single device is here and hotting up. This is the time to grow,” said Redknee CEO and founder Lucas Skoczkowski on a visit to India.
