A column by Rance Crain, president of Crain: Trade press still fills need in digital age: “Business publication Web sites such as Forbes.com would seem to have a leg up on Web sites without a complementary print component, but what worries me is that most of the business publication field seems to be in play, with investment bankers about the only buyers left. So I’m not sure how long they’ll be able to maintain that advantage.”
