Sony and Time Warner’s gaming units have signed a long-term licensing deals that move development and distribution of “The Matrix Online” to Sony Online Entertainment and also give it rights to make a multiplayer game with DC Comics super heroes. No financial terms were disclosed.
E-Commerce Times: Warner Brothers is believed to have spent close to $20 million to create the online Matrix game, an ongoing storyline designed to continue the plot from the “The Matrix” movie.
