Money-Media: FundFire Site Sales Director

The FundFire Site Sales Director will be responsible for selling entity wide site licenses to a daily online financial publication. The product focus is to provide competitive intelligence to investment managers and high net worth individuals.

Job Related Requirements:

– Minimum of 2-4 year track record of success in inside sales, primarily. Ability to make outside sales contacts is a plus, but not a requirement.

– Demonstrated success in dealing with a large database of prospects and clients. Must be able to make multiple sales calls to both identify and contact key decision makers and to close by telephone.

– Ability to interact and sell to both mid-level and senior level executives.

– Ability to maintain efficient customer and prospect sales data and reports.

– Ability to conduct research and review extensive prospect/customer data sources to affect active cross-sell opportunities.

Personal Requirements:

– Passion for sales

– Competitive nature with team focus.

– Ability to deal with large prospect databases.

– Ability to use the telephone to develop new business either through cold calling, trial follow-ups or customer cross-sell initiatives.

– Desire to work in a small, entrepreneurial environment which encourages new ideas and initiatives.

– Directness and honesty.

– Persistent, with a strong work ethic

– Desire and commitment to succeed.

Daily Tasks:

– Review prospect lead sources and client database.

– Maintain and update client and prospect databases

– New business sales development, through 50-70 phone calls, e-mails and mail packages to clients and prospects.

– Daily call report
