Fourteen major sites and online ad firms are donating $5 million in online ads to promote the “One” campaign aimed at urging Americans to join others around the world in dealing with AIDS, extreme poverty, fair trade and other global issues. The campaign is part of the movement responsible for the Live 8 concerts tsking place next month. Not surprising, AOL, which has the exclusive online rights to the concerts, is part of the group; others include 24/7 Real Media, MSN, Google, MSNBC, About.com, Burst Media, Gamespot.com, Accuweather.com, Right Media, ValueClick, and Viacom (CBS.com, CBSNews.com and UPN).
