Out of the three tracks going on at MEM conference here in London–mobile music, mobile gamed and mobile video–mobile video is by far the hottest. The room’s full and there’s standing space only…compare that to the attendace in mobile music, where everything seems to be yesterday
s news. Which is strange because if you look at the market, where the money being made right now is in music, and video is still a conceptual play. Tons of hype, little of content….
And oh, please, don’t do a conference in a trade-show hall. The acoustics are terrible…even the panelists complained that they can’t hear each other….anyway, end of my rant.
